1. Use a qualified three-hole socket
Household electric heaters should use a three-hole socket with a ground wire, and must not be replaced with a two-hole socket without a ground wire to prevent danger. And the connected socket should not stand directly above the electric heater, it is better to use a wiring board with overcurrent and leakage protection devices.
2. The oil heater should be placed upright
The oil heater must be placed upright, not upside down or inclined. Because the oil heater heater releases heat by heating the heat transfer oil around the heating pipe through the lower heating pipe. If it is placed upside down or diagonally, it will cause empty burning and burn out the heating tube, thereby causing a fire. When the electric heating oil heater is used for heating in the living room, the air convection should be used as much as possible, so that it is warm and saves electricity. When using the oil heater in the children’s room, it is best to have barrier measures in order to prevent children from being scalded while playing.
3. Time-sharing with high-power-consuming appliances
The power of electric heaters used in households is preferably below 2000W, because the capacity of household electric meters is generally 3~10A, and excessive power is prone to power failure and other accidents. Now many manufacturers’ electric heaters are set to high, medium and low power levels. When using high power, try not to use it with other high-power appliances (such as rice cookers, electric water heaters, etc.) at the same time to ensure safe use.
4. Do not cover items on the heater
Do not cover items on the electric heater, otherwise it is easy to cause the heat of the electric heater to fail to dissipate in time and cause a short circuit of the burner, or cause a fire due to high temperature ignition of the covered items. When drying clothes with a special drying rack, wring out the water to avoid danger from water dripping in the control box of the electric heater.
5. Pay attention to maintenance when cleaning and collecting
When cleaning the heater, it is best to wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in household detergent or soapy water. Do not use diluent solvents such as gasoline to avoid damage to the casing and cause accidents. The electric heater in the bathroom should be dried and stored, and should not be stored in the bathroom.
